| About | Nelson Eugene Trumbo, 72, of Fulks Run, died Nov. 21, 2011, at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville. He was born July 20, 1939, in Rockingham County, and was a son of the late Trovillo Jay and Mary Leona Neff Trumbo. He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a former member of the Fulks Run Ruritan Club. On June 16, 1967, he married the former Shirley Keister, who survives. He is also survived by a son, Nathan Trumbo of Fulks Run; a brother, Richard Trumbo of Fulks Run; and two sisters, Phyllis Mason of Broadway and Sue Bowman of Fulks Run. Ronnie Fulk and Jerry Shiflet will conduct a funeral service Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mountain Grove Church of the Brethren in Fulks Run. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. |
