About | WILLIAMSBSURG - David Allen Guertin 'Buckshot' lifelong resident of Williamsburg, born July 6, 1960, passed peacefully from this life to his eternal resting place on Nov. 20, 2008 surrounded by his beloved family and friends.Buckshot never met a stranger that didn't become a friend. He was a successful self-employed maintenance contractor who could fix anything. ("If I can't fix it, it's broke.") Buckshot was also an accomplished musician, playing drums with various local popular bands. He was an avid Harley Rider, beloved by all of his fellow bikers who have set up a foundation in his name called "Buckshot Sunrise Foundation". He is survived by his loving wife, Dalene Guertin; his son, Cpl. Randall Scott Henry, USMC and his wife, Lindsey; his parents, Clifton F. and Nancy Guertin; his brother, Clifton "Fuzzy" Guertin; his sisters, Nita Guertin Hutchinson and her husband, Pete, Dawn Guertin Soper and her husband, Wes; his niece, Lindsey Brooke Soper and his nephew, Matthew Logan Soper. A celebration of Buckshot's life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, with Pastor David V. Ford officiating.
