About | Joshua Clayton Robinson, 21, of 25209 Ford Avenue, North Dinwiddie, VA, transitioned to eternal rest suddenly on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, in Colonial Heights, VA. He was born, June 19, 1999, to his parents, Antoney Robinson (Eunice), of Ellerbe, NC, and Carol Robinson, of North Dinwiddie, VA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Benjamin F. Weaver, Sr. and Ethel Queen Weaver; paternal grandfather, Clayton Robinson; aunt, Jackie Clark and uncle, Benjamin F. Weaver, Jr. Joshua confessed Christ and became a member of Higher Way Ministries, Petersburg, VA. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Joshua had an "Extraordinary" relationship with his mom! He had an infectious smile, a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with his family; he had a special bond with this cousin, Victoria Weaver, they were "two peas in a pod". Joshua had a special love for animals; Diego and Gemma. They had a bond that could not be broken. He graduated from Dinwiddie High School, Class of 2018. Joshua was a proud member of the Marching Generals; his extended family; on and off the field. Joshua's home was home to many of his friends. Joshua was employed at Loyalty Nissan. Joshua leaves to cherish his memories; his parents; a sister; Antionette Robinson, of Pittsburg, PA two brothers; Antoney Clayton Robinson, Jr., of Pittsburgh, PA, and Delmar Clayton Robinson, of Richmond, VA; paternal grandmother, Linda Robinson, of Ellerbe, NC; four aunts; Sharon Griffin (Roger) of Dinwiddie, VA, Melissa Weaver, of Stony Creek, VA, Patricia Austin, of DeWitt, VA, and Phyllis Romero, of Ellerbe, North Carolina; six uncles; Kenneth Weaver (Susie), of Disputanta, VA, Edward Weaver (Leah), of Hopewell, VA, Richard Weaver (Kendra), Dwayne Austin (Robin), all of Dinwiddie, VA, Darryl Austin, of DeWitt, VA, and Kenneth Robinson, of Ellerbe, NC; great aunts; Linda Pegram (John) and Maggie Weaver, all of DeWitt, VA, and Catherine Gilliam, of DeWitt, VA; two great uncles, James Queen (Ruth) of Dinwiddie, VA and Deacon William Gee, of Ford, VA; a host of cousins; devoted: Arquetta, Toni, Kenasia, Kaylan, Onte', Darius, Shawn, Devon, William, James, Kendrick, Norletta, MelQuan, Darius, Jr, and Shawn, Jr., other relatives, devoted friends: Norma J. A Private Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at Higher Way Ministries, 515 Virginia Avenue, Petersburg, VA, Rev. Felicia Fisher, Eulogist. Burial will follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Park. A public viewing will be Monday, February 8, 2021, from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m. at the Petersburg Chapel of the Joseph M. Johnson and Son Funeral Home. |
