Jere Tozier Watson of Rhome, Texas went to be with her Lord on June 1st following a long illness. She was born December 16, 1945 to Herb and Lucille Hand Tozier at the Army Hospital, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Jere lived her early years in Lawton, Oklahoma then moved to Hampton, Virginia where she graduated from Hampton High School. Following High School, she studied Airline Management and took a position with Eastern Airlines in Atlanta, Georgia. Returning to Hampton, she met and married her life-long companion Ronald Watson (HHS '61). Ron’s work took them to Texas where Jere worked as a homemaker and medical records transcriber. Jere enjoyed crafts, her beloved Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with friends and neighbors. She is survived by her husband Ron, her sister Rita Blood (HHS '59), and her nieces and grandnieces and a grandnephew. |
