About | So Small a Thing (from The Sound of Poetry) It seems So small a thing to say, Good bye, behind So great a thing to hold. The countless words that stay unsaid And thousand things untold Go with me as I stay Stay with you as you go. But who can cry on a summers day, Over so small a thing to say? But as this noon to eave does dawn And I alone still find you gone So whispers sorrow to my soul Of all unsaid and all untold Over so small a thing to say Good bye, on this Sad summers day. -Phillip J.
