| About | Larry James Burroughs, age 57, of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland, MD. He was born on April 3, 1958 in Leesburg, VA, the son of Mary Virginia Kimberlin of Herndon, VA and the late Pope James Burroughs. On August 17, 1995 he married his wife of 20 years, Princess E. Burroughs, who survives in Petersburg. Larry graduated from Herndon High School in Herndon and was a member of the Kingdom Hall-Jehovah Witnesses in Moorefield, WV. He worked in construction as a Heavy Equipment operator most recently for Stuart & Perry Excavating in Winchester, VA. Mr. Burroughs is survived by: 2 step-daughters, Crystal Barber and husband, Emanuel, of Petersburg and Melissa Hose and husband, Brian, of Moorefield, WV; 2 step-sons, Eldridge J. Barr, II and wife, Judy, of Bunker Hill, WV and Dwayne C. Barr and wife, Katji, of Moorefield; 2 sisters, Pamela Stiles of Herndon and Brenda Steere of Edinburg, VA; 1 brother, Scottie D. Burroughs of Herndon; 14 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren. In addition to this father, he is preceded in death by, 1 step-son, Carl O. Barr. Per Mr. Burroughs request his body was cremated. |
