He was a graduate of Purdue University and worked in information technology. He is survived by his ever faithful guide dog Carlo, his sister Patty Finn, brothers Bill and Jeff Godecker, niece Sarah Finn, nephew Matt Godecker, brother-in-law Rich Glennon, sister-in-law Joyce Godecker and his good friend, Kirsten Johnson.
