About | Remember "Links" share your memories and photos. Jordan Marcale Cassell, 22, was called home on Saturday, August 5, 2017. Jordan was born on September 20, 1994, in Charlottesville, Va., to Kimberly Anders and Kevin Cassell. A unique soul he was. Jordan was kind-hearted, loving, full of life, with dreams and aspirations. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Staunton, Va. Jordan had a smile that illuminated any room he entered. He was funny, loved playing practical jokes on his loved ones and friends; enjoyed being free, adventurous, exploring as a little boy and riding his motorcycle as a young man. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his great-great-grandparents, Herbert and Gertrude “Nana” Scott; grandmother, Rachel Cassell; and grandfather, Kevin Brown. He is survived by his son, Jeremih Cassell, and fiancé, Katie Anderson; mother, Kimberly Anders; father, Kevin Cassell and wife Shena White ; great-grandmother, Mary Joanna Jones; grandparents,Eric Anders, Ronald and Gwen Jones; one brother, Joshua Cassell; three sisters, Tamiah and Kimora Jackson, and Ramsey Cassell; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend memorial services at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017, At The Way Of The Cross Baptist Church, 579 Haden Martin Rd., Palmyra, VA. Dr. Dale L. Johnson to officiate.
