Elizabeth Meador Eads of Ruckersville, Virginia at age 59 passed away on September 12, 2015 at Martha Jefferson Hospital due to unforeseen medical complications. She was born on June 21, 1956 in Roanoke, Virginia, daughter of the late Raymond and Claudine Meador. She is survived by her husband James Eads, her daughter Leah Hernandez and son-in-law Pablo Hernandez and grandson Gabriel Hernandez, daughter Mariah Eads, son Joel Eads and son Micah Eads. She is also survived by her sister Teresa Walthall of Roanoke, Virginia and her mother-in-law, Amelia Woodson of Columbia, South Carolina. Beth was a preschool teacher loved by her students and parents in Spotsylvania County. She was fiercely devoted to the success and encouragement of her husband in his 35 years of ministry during the good times and the difficult. She loved him with all she had and said he was the best husband ever. During their time in ministry she led praise and worship at numerous churches. She loved contemporary praise and worship while also preforming southern gospel with the late Hugh and Rosie Napier of Covesville, Virginia. Ministry to her was not a job but a way of life. She was often generous to the poor, needy and hurting when in the same place herself. Beth was a well-loved, strong woman of God. She prayed and meditated on the word of God without ceasing and encouraged others to do the same. She touched people’s lives by being a friend, teacher, choir director, worship leader, mentor, pastor’s wife and loving mother. Her greatest accomplishment was the lives she led to Christ. Even till the end she was singing praises from her hospital room. She will be missed until the moment we see her again in heaven.
