Alice Marie Hicks Flowers, 58, of Elliston, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014. She was formerly employed with S & S Cafeteria, K & W, and Rescue Mission Thrift Store. She is survived by her husband, Lewis Flowers, Elliston; Father, Robert Hicks, Staunton; Son, Michael & Crystal Rhodes, Michigan; 3 grandchildren, Sue, Kendra & Seth, Michigan; Sister, Doris & Stan Courser, Troutville; Sister-in-law, Cathy & Kenneth Crawford, Troutville; Brother-in-law, Mike Flowers, Roanoke; Best Friend, Drew Adler of Salem; uncles, aunts & cousins. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Lighthouse Gospel Church, 2512 Cannaday Road NW, Roanoke, VA, 24012. Pastor Mike Shaffer will be officiate the service.
