| About | Marilyn Jo VanHooser, 59, Cynthiana, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, July 10, 1951, to the late Perry Jr. and Marilyn Esther "Mickey" VanHooser . She was a bartender and loved crafts. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeromia Barnwell and a brother, Tim VanHooser . Survivors include: her daughter, Kathryn (Cory McFarland) Critzer, Harrison County; two brothers, Hans (Di) VanHooser , Chillicothe and Pete (Sally) VanHooser , Virginia Beach, Va.; and three grandchildren, James L. McFarland, Megan Rose Russell and Robert Samuel McFarland. A memorial service was held Wednesday, March 9 at 2983 Poindexter Road, Cynthiana. Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
