| About | Don Richard Davey, 64, died Friday, January 10, 2014 after years of battling heart disease. He was passionate about his friends from York High School, VPI, & his brother and co-owner of Davey Brothers, Inc., Class A construction company & their workers & delivering quality. Don enjoyed playing music, encouraging others to keep creating music, and golfing. He valued many friends through the years, but first and foremost DD was devoted to and loved spending time with his family. His leadership, generosity, kind heart, and perseverance were an inspiration. DD was proceeded by his mother and is survived by his father, Richard Davey & brother, Robert (Boh) Davey(YHS' 70) and his family; and his very special friend, Joy Keafer, who brought much sunshine and pleasure in his life. Their epic love will endure forever. Make merry and celebrate with a fervor because he was lost and now found. DD passed winning a trifecta of goodness. It is no small task for a man to pass unaware of pain, loved, and happy! |
