About | NOTE: Only attended IKE during his sophomore year which may be 1988. Brandon Patrick Stone at the age of 42, left this earth to meet his Heavenly Father on February 27, 2024, at his home in Everett, WA after a courageous battle with Congestive Heart Disease. Brandon was born and raised in Yakima, WA where he attended grade school, junior high and Eisenhower High School his sophomore year where he was active in sports and played baseball & football. He then moved to Carnation, WA where he graduated from Mt. Si High School. During his Junior and Senior year, he played varsity sports in golf, baseball & football. After graduating from high school, Brandon most enjoyed applying his unique skills at working on home renovations and landscaping. Brandon later attended EVCC where he graduated in 2012 with a Welding Degree. During his tenure at college, he excelled in his classes and was appointed as Shop Steward and then mentored his apprentice level class students. Some of Brandon's fondest childhood memories were spent camping, hunting, fishing, and golfing with his father. In Brandon's adult years he enjoyed playing golf, gardening, visiting local art galleries, going to the movie theatre, and dabbling at home improvement projects. Brandon was very mechanically inclined and in his spare time, you could always find him tinkering on some electronic gizmo or gadget trying to repair it. He was also very artistic and enjoyed drawing and calligraphy. Brandon had a love for sports and enjoyed viewing and attending the Mariners, Seahawks, and Cowboys games. Brandon was loved by both dogs and cats. He was a cat whisperer, training and comforting the neighborhood cat. A Pied Piper of the Feline world. Brandon could best be described as a gentle giant. His stature and strength could be underestimated for his kind and loving heart of gold. He was compassionate towards others' needs and always went out of his way to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Brandon was selfless and found himself on numerous occasions putting himself in harm's way to protect and save others. From sprinting across several lanes of freeway traffic to pull others from a burning car to rescuing a woman being dragged by another car and coming to the aid of persons on the street in time of crisis. Brandon would always take action to protect others. Brandon is survived by his son, Trenton Stone, who is serving in the US Marine Corps in Camp Lejeune, NC, mother, Cathy Stone of Everett, WA, father, Jim Stone and his wife, Sarah Stone of Rising Star, TX, two step sisters; Summer Pruitt of Omak, WA, Andrea La Coy of Redmond, WA, and several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Along Brandon's journey of life, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and has always maintained a personal walk in his faith. Brandon will forever be in our hearts. We will always love and miss Brandon's great sense of humor and kind natured demeanor. Family & friends will be joined together this coming September at a planned Celebration of Life to commemorate and honor Brandon's life. |
