About | Brian Neal Kores was born November 20, 1967, in Yakima, Washington, to Aldy and Anna Kores. Brian passed from our lives peacefully, on April 29, 2023. While a lifelong resident of Yakima, Brian was also of Finnish Heritage, and took great pride in that and loved to discuss it. He also loved to travel the coastline and explore old shipwrecks, bookstores, little unknown restaurants, go hiking, and finding new places and people. He had a passion for it all. Brian loved his job as a machinist, at Irwin Research, working with his hands, solving problems, and bullshitting with his coworkers. His friends can attest to his wide range of interests and his love of sharing his knowledge and talking your ear off. He embraced his life with no holding back. He lived how he wanted to live. He spoke what was on his mind. We should all strive to live this freely. Brian's passing left behind Ron, Tamrin, Amadeus, Davian, Mary, John, and everyone that touched his life. If you have ever met Brian, rest assured that he remembered you and locked that memory inside his mind, with a time stamp on how, when, and where he met you. A Graveside Service will be held on June 9, 2023, at 1:00pm, at West Hills Memorial Park (11800 Douglas Rd., Yakima, WA 98908). If you wish, contributions in Brian's memory may be made payable to Appelo Archive Center and sent in care of Brookside Funeral Home (P.O. Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936) or at their website www.appleloarchives.org. Brookside Funeral Home is caring for the family. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.brooksidefuneral.com. |
