About | NOTE: Sophomore photo - 1967 ********* Reverend Chris Warren of Okanogan, WA passed away peacefully early morning on January 31, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Chris was born in Yakima, WA in 1951. He graduated from Eisenhower High School and continued on to receive a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Seminary. Chris was married to Kathy Rogers for 48 wonderful years. Chris worked as a presbyterian minister for 43 years and also drove school bus for the Okanogan School District. He was actively involved in Kiwanis, Brass Works, OVOC, Okanogan Fire Department, Christians in Action, and the Okanogan Pep Band. One of Chris’s true passions was salmon fishing with friends and cracking jokes. He was well known for his quick wit and willingness to lend a hand to those in need. Chris is survived by his wife Kathy, children Anna and husband Kevin, Lori and husband Nathan, Austin and Brenden, grandchildren Asher, Eason, Adeline and Ethan, brothers Gaylan and wife Heather, Pat and wife Katherine, and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Chris is proceeded in death by parents Ken and Delphia Warren, and brothers Michael, Denny and wife Cindy. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Christians in Action and/or the Okanogan Fire Department. The family of Chris Warren wishes to thank the Okanogan Fire Department for their care and generosity after the loss of Chris. A memorial celebration of life will be held in the spring, date to be determined. |
