About | Christina "Tina" Mae Frank (née Eichler) of Bothell, passed away peacefully at her home on April 3, 2024, after a brief illness. Tina was the third of four children born to Reinhold and Eloise Eichler in Yakima, Washington, on December 13, 1944. After graduating from Eisenhower High School, Tina attended the University of Washington, where she obtained a degree in Education and was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Tina was proud of her time at UW and was always happy to break into a rousing rendition of "Bow Down to Washington." After graduation, Tina married her high school sweetheart, Lee Frank. Tina taught elementary school after college, but then went back to school at Central Washington University, finding her true calling as a CPA. Tina worked as the controller at Inca Engineering until her retirement. Tina was adventurous and loved to travel with her friends and family, making annual ski trips to the mountains, boating adventures to the San Juans, and countless journeys throughout the U.S. She especially enjoyed cruising to Alaska, the Caribbean, and Europe. She had a passion for playing bridge with her longtime Hermosa Vista Bridge Club friends. Always happiest when engaged in an activity, Tina was the consummate hostess who truly enjoyed organizing events and holidays. Tina was a caring wife to her husband, Lee, a loving mother to her daughters, Kristen and Erika, and a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, Lauren and Alex. Tina was generous, a good friend, and had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 1:00pm, at the Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, WA). |
