| About | Text Size Danielle Dawn Schumacher was born September 7th, 1973 in Yakima, Washington. She was the second of four children born to Ronald and Kathy Schumacher. Danielle attended and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1991, then completed her certificate as a dental assistant. She would later begin her most fulfilling occupation of becoming a mother and a homemaker. Danielle enjoyed antiquing and, with her findings, decorating her home for every season. She loved spending time outside tending to her garden, creating her personal slice of heaven. Those who knew her can attest to the warm and inviting environment she created upon walking through the yellow front door of her home. But what Danielle loved most in this life was her family, friends, and pets -- her world revolved around her children and grandchildren. Danielle passed away unexpectedly on May 4th, 2024 at the age of 50, surrounded by those she loved most. She is survived by her parents Ronald and Kathy Schumacher, sons Gavin (Kirsti) Bakker and Bailey Johnson, daughter Brookelyn Johnson, grandchildren Soren and Kaisa Bakker, partner Darren Johnson, brothers Marcus (Tina) and Aaron (Stacy) Schumacher, sister Andrea (Josh) Pearce, several nieces and nephews (Emma, Anson, Madeline, Liam, Harper, and Graham), and two fur children (Birdie and Bentley). She is preceded in death by grandparents Leo and Kate Schumacher, Ester and Dean Snyder, and her Uncle Gary Snyder. We will forever miss your bright light, your infectious smile, your warm laugh, and your loving embrace. "Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." A Celebration of Life will be held at Spring Creek Homestead, 3213 S Tacoma St, Union Gap, WA 98903, on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
