About David Scott Taylor passed away August 13, 2024 in his home from complications of cardiac disease.

Scott was born in Moses Lake on October 10, 1968 to his parents Harry and Sandra Taylor. When he was two years old the family moved to Yakima. Scott grew up in Yakima having many adventures. He went to Robertson Elementary, Franklin Jr. High, Eisenhower Sr. High and Yakima Valley College.

Scott was an athlete and played football throughout his school years. He continued throughout his life to lift weights. He took great pride in being physically fit. Scott loved the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were his passions. Fall was his favorite season; with the crisp fall mornings, the warm sunny afternoons, the leaves changing to yellow, orange and red, and the cool fall evenings with the sky filled with stars and a bright harvest moon.

Scott was a Master Electrician and was very dedicated to his trade. He took extreme pride in his work and always tried to do his best in whatever task he started. Scott was a Christian who loved his Heavenly Father. He had dedicated his life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He did his best to follow Jesus' teachings.

Scott is preceded in death by his father Harry Taylor and survived by his mother Sandra Taylor Dilbeck, his stepfather Jack Dilbeck, his brother Michael W. Taylor and his fiancé Tina Tyrrell. Scott will be deeply missed. In honor of his wishes there will be no memorial service.
