About | David F. Sinnes, 65, passed away on March 30, 2016, in Selah, WA. He was born on April 26, 1950, in Yakima, WA, to Fred and Betty (Stephens) Sinnes. David graduated from Eisenhower High School in the Class of 1968 and continued his education at the University of Washington where he played trumpet in the UW band. David went on to work for the U.S. Forest Service as a firefighter in Montana and Alaska. In 1978, he came back home to the Yakima Valley to work alongside his father in the family business, Sinnes Electric Supply. David was a member of Sunrise Rotary Club and Selah Elks Club. He loved to travel, attending NAED (National Association of Electrical Distributors) conferences across the U.S., taking his family on trips in the motorhome, and playing his trumpet in the UW alumni band at football games. David was always making everyone around him laugh with his jokes. He was a man who everyone called a friend; and the best loving and supportive Dad to his children and grandchildren. David is survived by his mother, Betty, and his three children Nathan (Lisa) Sinnes, Daniel (Rose) Sinnes, and Sara (Aaron) Berry; sister Kathleen (John) Langenheim; grandchildren Patrick, Zachary, Emilie, Aurora, Laela, Seth and Katarina; Uncle Dan (Laurie); nephew Tim and nieces Heather (Kevin) and Rachel; in addition to many great-nieces and great-nephews and numerous cousins. |
