Donald LeRoy Eberhard passed away after a short illness on December 27, 2019 at his home in Moxee, Washington, he was 58.

Don was born in Jerome, Idaho on March 30, 1961. He was the third child. His birthday was one day before this mother’s birthday and through the years many birthdays were celebrated together.

Don lived his younger years in Twin Falls, Idaho and Lewiston, Idaho. His family moved to Yakima in 1970. Don went to Union Gap schools and Eisenhower.

Don and his siblings spent their childhood summer at their grandparents’ cabin and Don had fond memories of times the family spent fishing, exploring the area, he enjoyed camping and the mountains when he could get away.

Don worked mostly in the fruit warehouses. He was a skilled forklift driver and took pride in it, and he knew all about apples.

He will be missed by his family for his love of family, always willing to help.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle Eberhard and Audrey Powell, paternal and maternal grandparents, as well as aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his sister, Tina (Mark) Bales of Yakima, WA, and brother, Dwain Eberhard of Washougal, WA. He is also survived by nieces, Kim Tuschhoff, Dana Eberhard, Cassie Bales, and nephew, Andrew Bales, and great nephews, Kaiden Eberhard, and Carter and Caysen Bales.

A Memorial Service will be held in the summer of 2020. To leave a message or memory for the family please go to www.brooksidefuneral.com. Brookside Funeral Home is caring for the family.
