| About | Gwyne Cheryl Rogers, 77, died on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 peacefully at her home in Federal Way. Born on May 21, 1947 in Yakima County, WA. She was the daughter of the late Lynn Eugene Ulness and Blanche M. (Day) Ulness. Gwyne graduated from Eisenhower High School in Yakima, class of 1966 Gwyne was a loving, dedicated housewife/caregiver; and retired day care supervisor for KinderCare Day Care Center in Federal Way. She is survived by her son and one sister. In addition to her parents, Gwyne was preceded in death by one son, John Eugene Martin; and her two husbands, Jimmie Allen Martin and Charles A. Rogers. Gwyne is also survived by numerous other extended family members, friends, and "unofficially adopted" children and grandchildren she diligently cared for during her life. She will be remembered and missed much more than she could have ever imagined during the later stages of her life. Enjoy your eternal heavenly campfire!!! Graveside funeral services for family and friends will be held Wednesday July 31, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn WA. |
