About | Jack Christopher Sparling died unexpectedly on September 6, 2024 in Beaverton, OR. He will be greatly missed by his family and many many friends. We pray for his soul to rise quickly to heaven and be at peace. Jack was born on August 10, 1998 to parents Desiree Sparling & Tom Sparling. He grew up in Yakima, attending St Joseph Marquette School and later Eisenhower High School. As a child he enjoyed snowboarding, playing video games, spending time with family and friends on Bainbridge Island and hanging out with his cousin Lancy. He traveled quite a bit as a child, enjoying time in Sun Valley, Hawaii, visiting his aunt Joan on ST John USVI, and family Thanksgivings in La Quinta and later Carmel. At age 14 he became a certified diver and enjoyed trips with his dad diving in Belize and Grand Cayman. He was a well-mannered child who did well in school and had many friends. At Eisenhower he was Class President twice. He later was chosen Mr. Congeniality during a MR IKE contest his junior year. Later, he attended Eastern Washington University where he graduated with a Marketing degree in 2021. He returned to Yakima and took a job at Zesta Cucina Restaurant. He enjoyed being a bartender and the many people he would meet daily. Everybody mentioned how "great Jack is". He worked there for almost three years before moving to Beaverton Oregon in the summer of 2024 to be with his girlfriend Audi Colmenero. He took a bartending job there at a nice establishment called THE THIRSTY LION. Jack and Audi adopted a cute dog named Zero. He always loved dogs and was happiest just hanging out with his pet. Jack loved to tease his father about the many goofy things Pops did over the course of his life. He loved music, and went on to develop his own DJ business, Sparling Productions while in college, playing at local bars and at family events in the Pacific Northwest. He also loved Rap/Hip Hop, and wrote and produced many songs while collaborating with other singers. This was his true passion. He enjoyed snowboarding and golf, looking forward to the day he could beat his dad. Jack is survived by his father Tom Sparling, his stepmother Linda, his brother Brandon Cady and sister Ciara Beehler. His mother Desiree Sparling preceded him in death in 2017. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jack was deeply loved by all his family and friends. His infectious smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His death leaves a tremendous void that will be felt forever by his family and friends. |
