John Paul DEMSON, Jr. Passed away July 25, 2006 at his home in Seattle, WA. He was born September 15, 1949 in Yakima, WA to John and Helen (Zissos) Demson. John graduated from Central Washington State College (now Central Washington University) with degrees in education and sociology. He earned a Master's degree in business from Sacramento State College. John also earned a degree in counseling from Seattle University. He enjoyed working in all those careers. John is survived by two sisters, Fran Demson of Yakima and Elaine Demson-Tsakopoulos of Folsom, CA; three nieces, Katina, Eleni, and Athena Tsakopoulos; one nephew, Kyriakos (Yannos) Tsakopoulos. John was preceded in death by his father, John Paul Demson, Sr. and his mother, Helen Martha Demson. A Trisagion Service will be held tonight (Tuesday) at 7:00 p.m. at Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors, 201 North Second Street, Yakima, WA. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel at Shaw & Son Funeral Directors. Father Joseph Copeland and Father John Angelis will officiate the services. John will be laid to rest with his parents following the funeral services at Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima. A gathering will be offered following the services on Wednesday at Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors in the Bill Greenside Community Room.
