Graduation Year Class of 1958
Date of Birth Apr 30, 1940
Date of Passing Jul 23, 2024
About Jeanine was born April 30, 1940, to John and Glenna Haubrich of Yakima. She passed away on July 23, 2024, after a long battle with Dementia.

Jeanine graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1958. In June 1960 she married Arthur Carlevato. Together, they had three daughters. She cherished raising her daughters as they were her pride and joy.

Jeanine enjoyed traveling with her husband, as his business enabled them, throughout the U.S. and abroad. Jeanine and Art also enjoyed many trips with their close friends, the Germunson family.

While raising her children, Jeanine worked as a bookkeeper and retired from the Better Business Bureau. Although she worked fulltime, she was a loving mother and wonderful cook. She passed these skills onto her daughters. During her illness, her girls were an essential part of her life, especially Lori who managed her medications and daily care.

Jeanine is survived by her husband Arthur Carlevato, daughter's Lori Washburn (Jeff), Cheryl Stohr (Rick), Gina Carlevato, her brothers Dean Haubrich, Dick Haubrich, her sister Debbie Weishaar (Milo), her granddaughter Hannah Stohr, her grandson's Parker Stohr, Nick Washburn, Blake Washburn, her brother-in-law Jess Hensley, and her nieces and nephews.

Jeanine was preceded in death by her parents John and Glenna Haubrich, son-in-law Rick Stohr, sisters-in-law Dorothy Hensley and Louise Wright.

Special note to our wonderful caregivers: Debra, Shirley, Diane, Tasha, Sue, and Gina. Thank you for loving our mom and taking great care of her during this difficult time.
A celebration of life will be held at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N. 2nd St, Yakima, WA 98901) on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 12:00pm. Please feel free to wear something of mom's favorite color- Fuchsia (hot pink) in memory of her.
