About | Judy M. Frank was reunited with her parents, three brothers, and sister, on February 15, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was born in a taxi on the Oakland Bay Bridge, California, on September 6, 1945, to Marie and Roy Glubrecht. She graduated from John R. Rogers High School in 1963. She singlehandedly raised two strong independent daughters like herself, Athena Amapola and Kyrie Evans. She married Ernie Frank on November 24, 1987. Together they welcomed their children and grandchildren, Athena (Angel) Amapola, Kyrie, Jake, Nic, and Tommy Evans, and Rick and Roberta Frank, to spend the holidays in their home. Judy was a talented baker and cook. She served lunch to the students at Eisenhower High School for many years. The legacy of her creative expression lives on through the multitude of quilts, afghans, sweaters, baby blankets, and other handicrafts she made and gave with love to family, friends, and those in need of comfort. Judy also loved to travel the world (Peru, Turkey, England, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand) with her daughter, Athena, her best friend of 69 years, Mary Ward, and her two sisters, and brother, Barbara Smelter, Sherrie Holmgren, and Dan Glubrecht. No services are planned at this time. |
