| About | Lloyd L. Benscoter Sr., 69, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Cottage in the Meadow surrounded by family. Lloyd was born on May 28, 1949 the son of Lloyd and Lottie (Olsen) Benscoter in Prosser. He attended school in the Yakima area and graduated from Eisenhower High School. Lloyd referred to himself as a mountain man, he loved to be outside every chance he got. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, ride motorcycles, and target shoot with his family. Family was the most important thing to him, he loved to be together and support his grandchildren in their many activities. Lloyd is survived by his best friend in life, Linda (Pomerenke) Benscoter, three children, Mistie (Bryan) Gillihan, Bruce (Melissa) Benscoter, and Lloyd (Lisa) Benscoter, his three siblings, Rachael Conlon, Lance (Monica) Benscoter, and Phillip Benscoter. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and will be greatly missed. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Brookside Funeral Home (500 Prospect, Moxee, WA 98936) at 1:00 pm.
