About | Michael Lee Moore, 31, passed away August 17, 2018. Michael was born, in Yakima, on August 19, 1986 to Terry Craig Moore and Jeannette Darlene Smith. Growing up, Michael was very active and really enjoyed playing baseball, football, and lifting weights. He attended McClure and McKinley Elementary, Franklin Jr. High, and then graduated from Eisenhower High School in 2004. He and his sister, Amanda Moore, helped in raising their little sister, Skylee Moore, and their great-nephew, Jaden Martinez. The bond that Michael and Amanda had was much more than just a brother and sister bond, they were best friends, and he will be greatly missed by his sister. Michael is survived by his parents, his sisters, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Michael, may you rest in peace! We love you! Please join us Saturday, September 15th, at 12 pm, for a potluck to celebrate Michael’s life. It will be held at the Carpenter’s Union Hall located at 507 S. 3rd St., Yakima, WA. Bring your favorite dish and a story to share about Michael. Should you feel inclined to make any donations, please make that donation to the Union Gospel Mission, in Michael’s honor. |
