| About | Ron passed away June 10, 2016 in Sun City, Arizona. He was 54 years old. Ron was born March 22, 1962 to Paul and Irene Hembree in Yakima. Except for the last 3 1/2 years of his life, Ron was a lifelong resident of Yakima, graduating from Eisenhower Senior High School in 1980. Growing up, Ron was active in Scouting, little league baseball, and riding motorcycles. Later on Ron caught the bird hunting and fishing bugs. His weekends were spent hunting or fishing along the Columbia River. As an adult, Ron worked as a painter, carpet and tile installer until his health forced him to stop. In 2013, Ron moved to the Phoenix area and was attending college up until his death. Ron is survived by brother Richard and wife Elizabeth Hembree of Yakima, nieces Rachel and husband Vernon Margheim of Indianapolis, Indiana, Suzanne and husband Walter Gundersen of Bend, Oregon and Emily Hembree of Yakima. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews Joseph and Jacob Margheim, Caitlin, Zachery, Benjamin and Samuel Gundersen. Ron is preceded in death by parents Paul (2005) and Irene (2013) Hembree and great nephew Joshua Gundersen (2004). No funeral services were held at Ron’s request.
