About | Sherry was born November 25, 1949 and died October 6, 2017 at Landmark Care, of brain cancer. Sherry is survived by sister Karen Hake, a very special nephew, T.J. Hake, and great nephew Ryder Hake. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1968. She worked at West Valley High School for 35 years, with many friends there. Her room was filled with pictures and always so much love from family, loving dear friends, cousins, and caregivers. Sherry was an animal lover with many 4 legged kids she loved. She loved music, movies, and going to the beach. Her latest love was for George Michaels that played in her room. T.J. and Karen are deeply grateful for the many kind acts by her loving friends, Ronda, Barb, Teri, Jay, Keri and so many more. We are having a Celebration of Her Life on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Cowiche Canyon Kitchen at 202 E. Yakima Ave. in Yakima, WA 98901 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Thank you to staff at Keith and Keith Funeral Home for their care and support.
