About | Stacy Reneé Hatley Fox was born on August 21, 1977 in Yakima, WA at Memorial Hospital. After a long hard-fought battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and friends our beloved Stacy went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2017 at 6:35 pm. Stacy was born and raised in Yakima, WA. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1996. Stacy worked for Yakima Regional Hospital as an admitting rep in the ER, she also took care of a family friend Max and his wife Doris for a number of years as a caretaker. Stacy enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Anything outdoors with family and friends, from Goldendale to Drano and beyond. Stacy enjoyed riding her 4-wheeler and hunting mushrooms and picking berries with her lifelong friend Evie and her family. Stacy had many best friends whom she loved with her whole heart. She loved to travel and simply spend time with them, there are too many to mention but they know who they are. Stacy’s heart was definitely her nephews and nieces. Since she had no children of her own Stacy poured all her love into them. No matter what Stacy had going on she would drop what she was doing to be with the kids. She was a true definition of a super aunty. Her house was the “fun, loving place” for all of them. Stacy’s heart was pure, she loved with everything in her and saw the good in everyone in her life. She was a selfless soul willing to do anything for anyone, expecting nothing in return, accept maybe to see a smile. Stacy was easily happy, as long as she was with family and friends. She was always there to lend a hand or a shoulder to cry on. It was all about family and the love they all shared, the love we have for Stacy will never fade, she is in our hearts forever. A big thank you to her sister Brandy for staying by her side throughout her long battle with cancer. Also thank you to the people who helped Stacy be comfortable in her final days: Cindy “Lauper,” Evie, Myranda, Tara, Megan, Danelle, Susan, Katie, Lisa, Shane, and Ricky, you were all a blessing to Stacy. Stacy is survived by her mother, Brenda Hatley (Fox), her siblings, Shane (Katie) Hatley, James (Nicole) Hatley, and Brandy (Joey) Hatley; grandparents Luke and Sylvia Hatley; aunts and uncles: Teresa (Jeff) Hatley, Brad Fox, May Johnsen, Lily Fox, Ivy (Jack) McCormick and Gloria Hamilton; cousins: Jeffrey (Justine) Cozzetto, Lacey (Zane) Hatley, Susan Kramer, Daniel (Lisa) Kintner, and numerous others who she loved dearly.
