| About | Year of graduation calculated using age at birth. ******** Our beloved Tami passed away on April 14, 2011 after a hard battle with cancer. She was born in Yakima on July 23, 1957 to Ken & Joyce Paulson. She spent most of her life in the Yakima area, graduating from Eisenhower High School and going on to Whitworth College in Spokane for two years. She then went to work for Purple Cross Insurance Company for several years in Seattle where she met and married Vaughn Langley. She was blessed with three wonderful sons: Nicholas, Ryan and Trevor. For the last few years, she worked for the State of Washington as a caregiver in Yakima. She loved her clients and was as happy to see them as they were to see her. Tami was full of life and always lit up the room with her radiant personality and warm loving smile. She never met a stranger and always had several that called her their "Best Friend". She shared her zest for life with everyone she met. Nothing could extinguish her wonderful sense of humor or her love to smile at the world. She had a passion for gardening and was proud to use the herbs, spices and vegetables she grew in the meals she prepared for her sons. Tami is survived by her three sons, Nicholas "Nic" and Ryan of Yakima, Trevor of Seattle and their father, Vaughn Langley of Seattle; her brother, Mark Paulson of Yakima; and her father and step-mother, Ken and Patricia Paulson of Prosser. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce. The family would like to express their appreciation to the caring staff and volunteers at North Star Lodge and Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital that made her last few months easier. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Keith & Keith Terrace Heights Chapel. Concluding services and burial will follow in Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
