About | Tiki was born in 1970, in Ellensburg, Washington, to her mother Rita Naccarato. She passed away with her family by her side at the UW Medical Center on November 27th, 2017, after a short but fierce battle with bladder cancer. Tiki was raised in Yakima, Washington, where she graduated from the Eisenhower High School with National Merit Scholar status in 1988. She went on to attend the University of Washington, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in epidemiology in 1993. Tiki was self-employed, working as an accountant and an editor. Tiki always sang and danced even before she could speak full words or sentences; this earned her the nickname of Bird or Tiki Bird. She became an integral part of the Seattle Women’s Chorus when it was founded in 2002, and went on to become a part of their elite ensemble known as The Sensible Shoes. Her love for singing and performing with the Women’s Chorus made numerous lifetime friends who became an extension of Tiki’s already very large and loving family. Tiki married her best friend and soulmate Lucius Archibald David Andrew IV in 2008, in a beautiful ceremony on Whidbey Island. Tiki and David enjoyed traveling, community service, the performing arts, and their large and lovable newfies. To Tiki, everyone she loved was special. She’d never hesitate to show this with a loving note, an offer to help, or a thoughtful and unique gift. Tiki always kept her loved ones very close in her heart and at the forefront of her life. She was a kind and vibrant women who had a love of singing and helping people. Her hugs were the best and will be missed by everyone she knew. Tiki is survived by her husband David, her mother Rita Naccarato, her sister Francesca Naccarato, her father Philip Urvina, her step-mother-in-law Phoebe Andrew, and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, brothers- and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews of the Naccarato, Andrew and Urvina families. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Lucile Naccarato, father-in-law Lucius Andrew, mother-in-law Susan Philbin, and her uncle Eddie Hill. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. There will be a funeral service for her at 10:00 AM on January 13th, at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, located at: 205 2ND AVE. N., SEATTLE, WA 98109, and a celebration of Tiki’s life and a gathering for all her friends and family sometime this spring in Seattle.
