About | On Monday, May 28th, 2018 Veronica left her loving family to join her Heavenly home. Veronica was born December 10th, 1990 in Yakima, Washington to Angel Recio and Oscar Rios. She attended Eisenhower High School where she graduated in 2009. She worked for Walmart and most recently Burlington Coat Factory. Veronica could bring a sense of peace and calm to anyone that met her and if you were lucky enough to meet Veronica even once then you already loved her. Veronica loved her family more than anything, especially her 9 month old son Luigi. She was such a kind warm-hearted soul that her presence will be missed every single day. There are no words to describe the magnitude of heartbreak that losing her brought to her family. Veronica loved so many things about life and was exceptional when it came to her many hobbies whether it was cooking or baking for a family get-together or making a designer cake for a birthday or baby shower or making one of her beautiful blankets. She loved to go antique shopping with her Aunt Julie, her love for movies showed in her collection and if you wanted to borrow one of her movies it was like getting a membership at Blockbuster, no matter what it was she always put so much love into everything she did. Veronica was her mother’s baby and only daughter, the loss of this beautiful angel leaves a void that no earthly thing can fill. She will forever be deeply missed. Veronica leaves behind her son Luigi Recio, her mother Angel Recio; siblings Felipe (Aljaredia) Recio, Andres Recio, step brothers Lee Carrick Jr. and Raymond Carrick; step sister Dana Carrick; eight nieces and nephews: Lilli, Viv, Urey, Majh, Omari, Angel, Tino and Abel; godparents Carlos and Julie Solano; cousins Marco (Jessica), Rosa, Connie and Shannon Lucatero, Jasmine and Dale Solano, Efrein Hernandez, D’Marcos Awai, Mario, Kuria & Elysha; and her godchildren Ryu and Ruby June, Bill Brock, Madison, Jordan and Nick, and countless others whose lives she touched with her warm smile and gentle soul. Preceding her in death are Jose Recio, grandma June Recio, and Donald Recio aka Uncle Bookie. Veronica proved that there really are angels on earth. We love you Veronica, fly high with the angels beautiful girl. Rest in love baby girl.
