About | SPOKANE - William C. Wyman, age 73, passed away May 13, 2014 at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marianne Wyman, and a nephew, Connor Wyman. He is survived by his daughter, Kelli (Joe) Harris, grandsons Austin and Adam Harris, brothers Mike (Carol) and Tom (Kathy), nephews Erich, Mike, Andrew, Damian, Aaron and Patrick Wyman, and numerous grandnephews and nieces. Bill, the eldest of the three Wyman boys, was born September 5, 1940 in Yakima. He attended St. Paul’s Cathedral School and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1960, beginning a career in the car business before entering the U.S. Army in 1961. He spent the next nine years in the Army, serving at bases in Italy and Germany before returning to Yakima. He married Judi in 1971 and they moved to Lynn-wood, where Bill worked as a service manager for several auto dealerships and foreign auto repair shops until his retirement in 2010. His hobbies included car racing, hunting, fishing and Mariners baseball. Bill will be remembered for his engaging stories, his ability to make friends, and his uncanny ability to have fun wherever he was. He will be greatly missed by family and friends, since he was always the life of any gathering. There will be a remembrance service in late June at Spokane’s Cathedral Plaza where Bill resided the past three years. An interment service will be held at Terrace Heights Cemetery in Yakima in July. |
