About | With deepest sorrow, we announce that Zachery Kempf passed on November 1, 2019. He was born on November 15, 2003 to Caleb and Ruth Kempf of Yakima. Zachery attended Eisenhower High School as a sophomore. He was enrolled in all honors classes, and stood out academically in many areas. He participated in many school sports, including cross country, wrestling and tennis. He was a young man with great ambition and even greater dreams. Above all measures, he was loyal and persistent in his love for his family and friends. Over the summer he worked for the Washington State Department of Ecology. He saved his hard earned money from tutoring numerous friends and cousins to build his computer and to pay for his drivers education course. Zachery had many hobbies; he enjoyed playing many different games on his PC, the strategic game of chess, riding many miles on his mountain bike, including a recent goal he had accomplished – a long distance trip to Wenas Lake (22 miles). Zachery made life an adventure. Normally he could be found climbing the highest tree around, seeking great heights. After looking for him for far too long, you would eventually hear him say in his deep voice, “Hey, I’m up here,” followed by a deep laugh! He had the greatest talent of making sure you knew he was present. Zachary’s valiant, punctual, compassionate, inventive & critically rational personality will forever live in our hearts. You’ve made many smile and you continue to as we share memories that will last us a lifetime. Ride on buddy, ride on. A Celebration of Zachery’s life will be held at Breakthrough Church, 1220 Business Parkway, Union Gap, WA on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.keithandkeith.com. |
