About | Anna Marie Desler Pierce (4/20/1950 - 3/16/2007) Anna Marie Pierce peacefully passed away on Friday, March 16, 2007, at her home in Camas, Wash. Born on April 20, 1950, in Vancouver, Wash., she was 56 years old. Anna graduated from Clark College School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for Tuality Community Hospital prior to her retirement. While working, she was involved in numerous nursing associations, most notably the Healing Touch International and National Lymphedema Network and Nutrition Education organizations. Outside of work, Anna enjoyed gardening, custom cars, and relaxing at the Oregon Coast. Anna is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Les, of Camas; daughter, Roxanna Rico, and son, Erran Pierce, both of Vancouver, Wash.; mother, Irma Desler and brother, Dewey Desler, both of Bellingham, Wash.; sisters, Jean Caltagirone of Battle Ground, Wash. and Carol Anderson of Salem, Ore., and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Clayton Ray Pierce, in 1980. |
