: After graduation, Bruce earned a Math degree at College of Idaho that led him to help build reactors at Hanford. He married in 1979 and moved to CA and started a career as a professional deep-sea diver. In 1984, events in Persian Gulf prompted enlistment in the US Navy stationed in Virgina Beach. Bruce served in Beirut and other middle eastern stations, then boot camp commander retiring in 2000. He and wife later moved to Pennsylvania. He retired to fishing, bible study, and volunteer work. He was widowed in 2012. Bruce passed away of natural causes in December 2022 in Pennsylvania |
