About | May 7, 1953 to May 17, 1992 posted TCH May 29, 1992 Kevin Cook, beloved son, passed away at his home in Atlanta, GA, on May 17, 1992 after a long illness. Kevin graduated from Kennewick High School and Columbia Basin College where he majored in music and drama. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, attended the Monterey Language Institute, and was sent to Cambodia for service. Kevin attended St. Thomas More Seminary in Seattle and Fort Wright College in Spokane. He sang professionally and attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston. Kevin moved to Atlanta in 1980, attended Georgia State University, and then joined a law firm as an administrative director for a 100-attorney law firm when he was taken ill. Kevin is survived by his mother, Florence Book of Olympia; brothers Phillip of San Francisco, Lawrence of Scottsdale, Arizona and William of Simi Valley, California. He also is survived by cousins Val Vail and Linda Vail Combs of the Tri-Cities, Laura Vail Fregin of Leesburg, VA, Uncles Victor Cook, Jerome Cook, William Hickey, George Hickey and cousins Bruce Book, Victor Cook, Elizabeth Cook McQueen, Jeffrey Hickey, Patricia Hepburn and Jerry Tipton. Kevin was the eldest son of the late George L Cook, formerly of the Tri-Cities. |
