Shortly after graduation, Cindy married Curt Benward from Pasco in 1970. They had one child, daughter Cara who gave them two grandchildren. She and Curt lived and worked in various cities around the country, finally settling in Coos Bay Oregon in 1986. Cindy worked for several companies, King Cable, Pacific Power, GTE, Boeing, South Coast Business and her last job, Bay Area Hospital. There she worked for 10 years as an Education Specialist until she retired in 2015. She was creative and talented in art and music with lots of hobbies, activities, and many friends. Cindy passed away unexpectedly at her home on May 10, 2021. |
