| About | July 3, 1953 to May 17, 1995 posted TCH May 24, 1995 Deborah Ann "Debbie" Hays, age 41, of Kennewick, WA, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 17, 1995. She was born in Kennewick on July 3, 1953 to Milton and Patricia Hays. She graduated from Kennewick High School in 1971. Deborah worked at several jobs in the Tri-Cities and attended Columbia Basin College until she moved to Portland, OR, in 1979 to work and study medicine. She loved the martial arts, old Western movies, playing pool and her beloved dog Schnapps. Deborah is survived by her Uncle Hubert Carper; Aunt Pauline Cox; sister, Lynn Moore; brothers, Patrick Etter and Wayne; several nieces, nephews and cousins; all of the Tri-Cities; cousins, Carol and Dave Roberts of Benton City, WA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews in California. Deborah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Homer and Mary Carper, Aunt Joan Holcroft, and Deborah's mother, Patricia McFarland on September 1992. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 26, 1995, 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Benton City, WA. Place of burial will be Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 25, 1995 from 9 am until 8 p.m. at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls. In Lieu of flowers, the family has set up an account at the US Bank in Benton City to help with funeral expenses.
