About | Jason Davis Mueller's Chapel of the Falls Jason Davis passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 21, from an undetected congenital heart defect. He will be deeply missed by all. He was a lifetime Tri-Cities resident graduating from Kennewick High in 1989, where he played football and was on the wrestling team. He joined the Marine Corps in 1991. He obtained his pilot's license and subsequently graduated from Central Washington University in 1998 with a Bachelor's in Education. He began teaching the day reporting program and loved his students and the position at the juvenile justice center from fall of 1999 until 2008. Jason was awarded the Tri-Cities Crystal Apple Award for Special Achievement in 2006. He was enthusiastically looking forward to his new teaching position at Kamiakin High School. In April 1999 he married Erica Julin. Their daughter Ashlee was born on Aug. 14, 2002. Jason was a loving and devoted father and adored his daughter Ashlee. Jason was avidly involved in outdoor activities. He was a certified scuba diver and enjoyed camping and hunting. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Ashlee age 6; his former spouse and friend Erica; his mother Marion Davis (Dan Garrison); sister Jamie (Fernando) Alvarez; nephews Joshua, Caleb and Zachary; uncle Gary (Rita) Downs of South Dakota; cousins Cheryl (Mike) Albin and her daughter Danielle (Nick) Wallace and their son Conner of Yakima; cousin Shawn (Virgie) Downs and their children Shawn and Jackie of Michigan and cousin Dawn Downs of Utah. He was proceeded in death by his father Rudy; grandparents Thressa and Ralph Downs and Joyce and Ray Steele. 'Jace, you are in our hearts. We will greatly miss you until eternity where we will unite once again with our Lord and Saviour.' Your Family. Funeral services will be held at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls in Kennewick on Thursday, August 28th, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Graveside service will immediately follow the funeral at Riverview Heights Cemetery.
