Following graduation, she married and had two children. She was employed at Pacific First Federal for many years and later became an executive secretary at the Hanford Site. She remarried in 1992 and had two more children. She was an avid reader, loved to cook and will be remembered for her Fried Chicken Legs and Chicken Noodle Soup. Valerie loved her family and friends and looked forward to holidays, BBQ's and getaways with her husband to Packwood. She was confirmed into the Catholic Church in March of 1991. Valerie died at age 59, a loving wife, mother, sister, auntie, and Grammy, at her home in Richland on May 2, 2010. |
