About | Charlotte Georgette Mitchell 1944-2023 Charlotte Georgette Mitchell passed away peacefully at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Wash. Aug. 21, 2023. Charlotte was born in Omak, Wash. on Sept. 12, 1944, to Charles W. and Frances A. Kurth. She graduated from Omak High School in 1962. In 1964, she married James S. Mitchell and moved to Twisp, Wash. where they lived in the same house for the past 59 years. During her life, Charlotte had several jobs including packing apples, teachers’ aide, small business owner, and hospitality worker, but her primary career was homemaker and stay-at-home mom. Charlotte was involved in the Twisp Community Center for many years primarily running the roller-skating program. She loved to go to Bingo with her girlfriends and cheering for her children and grandchildren in all their sports and school endeavors. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Frances Kurth; and her half-brother, Peter J. Drobeck. She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Michelle (Brent); son, James (Stephanie); grandchildren, Payton, Jadyn and Kyler; brother-in-law, Terry (Susan); and many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Per her request, there will not be a memorial service. In lieu of cards or flowers, please consider donating to an animal charity/shelter in her name. |
