My beloved aunt died on June 27, 2009 of complications from her many years of heroin use. She had been clean for several years but the tole the drug use took on her affected many organs. She was always a giving person and my favorite aunt. Four months before she pass I took her to the Emerald Queen Casino to see Carlos Mencia's act. We had our picture taken with him and had a great time. She was surrounded by loved ones as she passed away in a hospital in Seattle - a city she loved. She was just 6 days from her 56th birthday. Her remains were taken by her daughters to the ocean in Oregon - another place she loved. She is missed by us all and survived by her 3 grown children and now a grandchild. I know now she is drug free and healthy in her little piece of paradise. |
