Rodriguez and his passenger Jose D. Mendoza, both 18-years-old, were traveling in 1999 Honda Accord when the car left the roadway. It crossed the westbound lane and continued in to a ditch, rolling until it landed on its wheels about 30 feet from the roadway. Rodriguez was killed instantly. Mendoza was taken to Quincy Valley Hospital before being airlifted to Central Washington Hospital for chest and head injuries. Washington State Patrol is still investigating the accident and has not released any information on possible causes. |
