About BLUEFIELD; Joshua Lee Redden, 28, of Morning Dove Road in Bluefield, left this life for a better one after a short illness on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Summers County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hilldale, W.Va. Born July 20, 1980 in Princeton, he was the son of Susan Comer Delp of Rt. 3, Princeton and Ronnie Redden of Randolph Co., W.Va. He was of the Baptist faith and was a graduate of Pikeview High School Class of 1998.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dubree E. Redden. Additional survivors include two wonderful children that he loved and adored very much, Kourtney Redden and Jacob Redden both of Princeton; two brothers, Andrew Redden of Charleston, W.Va. and David Redden of Rt. 3, Princeton; maternal grandparents who helped to raise and take care of him, Roger and Pauline Comer of Rt. 3, Princeton; paternal grandmother, Mary C. Redden of Summers Co., W.Va.; one niece, Paige Redden of Camp Creek; one nephew, Dillon Redden of Camp Creek; and one special aunt, Lucinda Asbury and husband Barry of Rt. 3, Princeton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the G.E. Davis Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Pastor Roger Hatfield and Pastor Franklin Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at the New Zion Cemetery, Rt. 3, Princeton. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Sizemore, Keith Adkins, Barry Asbury, Derrick Weatherly, Allen Redden and Gerald Kula. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today.
