| About | Rick was killed in the UBB Coal Mine Explosion. Kim, his wife, would like to thank the class of 1983 for the beautiful peace lily and yellow fuji mums, purple larkspur. Rick loved his wife, son, daughter-in-law and his new grandson "Brody Parker Lane". Rick's wife Kim would like to start a scholarship fund in honor of her husband for just a Shady Spring High School student for wrestling or FFA. Rick was an avid hunter and loved working on our farm. He had just bought a new tractor and took Brody on his first tractor ride 2 days before the accident. Rick and Kim had 24 wonderful years together but he was taken too soon!
