Ann Williams Obituary

Graduation Year Class of 1989
Date of Passing Aug 08, 2009
About Ann will always be remembered as such a kind and giving person. She will be greatly missed.

From the Lake Country Reporter 8/18/09:

Ann Marie Williams, of St. Paul, MN and formerly of Town of Lisbon, age 37, was taken tragically on Aug. 8, 2009 the result of a brain aneurysm.

Annie called Mountain Shadows her home from the time she was 2-1/2 until she moved to St. Paul after graduating from UW-Stevens Point in 1993 to pursue a career in Interior Design. She attended Richmond School graduating there in 1985 and in 1989 she graduated from Arrowhead High School. She held many jobs in St. Paul, after the Interior Design job. Included in those were management in Clinique Cosmetics, bartending at Shannon Kelly's Brew Pub, management at the Manitou Inn Supper Club, obtaining her license in real estate and being a partner in Adorn Realty. Most recently she was the Sales coordinator for Aquarius Water Conditioning, and part-time sales associate for Clinique at Herberger's, and one night a week she hostedkaraoke. She worked hard at everything she did and enjoyed life to the fullest.

She loved the Packers, her dogs, and every organization she became involved in. She was part of the Winter Carnival Royal Family of 1999, and as a guard she had a life-long commitment of service. She took in a rescue dog after Hurricane Katrina. She organized a group of jumpers for the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. She was involved in the 20th reunion of her high school class to be held this fall. She came home often to visit her family and loved to play with her nieces and nephews whom she adored. As busy as she was, she always found time to help out any friend that needed her. She had touched more lives in her 16 years in St. Paul than most people would in a lifetime. She was taken from us too soon, but even in the end she donated her organs to help others.

We love you and we will always miss you, Annie.

She was the beloved daughter of Robert and Susan (Schaefer) Williams; the "Best-ever" big sister of Becky (Rob) Kohlhepp and Rob (Peggy) Williams; adoring aunt of Addie, Ellie and Will Kohlhepp and Jacob and Katelyn Williams; and dear granddaughter of Robert and Marion Williams. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, friends beyond count and her furry friends Daphne and Leopold. Preceding her in death were her grandparents Lester and Frances Schaefer.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, with visitation beginning at 3 p.m., at St. Charles Catholic Church, 313 Circle Dr. Hartland. In lieu of flowers donations to LifeSource or the Ann Marie Williams Scholarship Fund are preferred.
