About | Cynthia Jean Ronnander, 38, of Nenana went home to her Saviour on July 5, 2008, at Providence Alaska Medical Center, Anchorage, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She is now at peace. Cindy was born to Thomas and Mary (Nelson) Larson. She married Todd Ronnander on Dec. 22, 1990. She graduated from UW-River Falls with a bachelor's degree in education and taught English at Cumberland High School from 1995 to 1999. Cindy and her family moved to Nenana, Alaska, in 1999 where she taught high school English for the past nine years. Cindy is survived by her husband, Todd; children, Mikhail, Mercedes and Hattie; her parents, Tom and Mary Larson of Colfax; brothers, Roger (Athena) Larson and their children, Stephanie, Remington, Hunter and Citori of Colfax, JohnThomas (Jenney) Larson of Elk Mound; grandmothers, Evelyn Nelson and Phyllis Larson of Colfax; parents-in-law, Duane and Irene Ronnander of Menomonie; sister-in-law, Sara (Ken) Breeggemann and their children, Katherine, Abigail and Caleb of Kannapolis, N.C.; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Cindy is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Emil Nelson and Wallace Larson. |
