About | Fond memories of Prudence (Prudy) Albanese have never disappeared after all these years because of the close and devoted time we had together in her freshman and sophomore years. It might have been called “puppy love” but Prudy was very mature at that age and I do believe it was hers and my first real love based upon the future plans we were making. However, this relationship came to an abrupt ending due to an outside influence on me that I could not overcome at the time. It was a devastating experience for both of us that changed our life path forever. It may have been my purpose at the time to introduce Joe, a friend of mine to her sister Virginia. I know Joe and Virginia became deeply in love and were planning their own wedding. I think Joe and Virginia did get married, but am not really sure. They say that everything in life has a purpose, and maybe in my case Prudy’s early parting was to spare me the grief of her leaving this earth after suffering a bout with cancer at the early age of 55, (around the year of 2000.) Prudy, this very sincere, happy, loving, unselfish person will always be missed by myself, friends and family, especially Virginia because they were very close. What became of Prudy after high school, someone else will have to write that chapter; however, this is what I have to add to her memoirs. All we know is that she is with God now! T |
